In this chapter, Biff learns from Sasha that Gloria is currently hiding in The Pit, a fairly dangerous place to explore, and returns with Sonja to Betty's in order to regroup, recuperate, and rethink his options. After a more-than-friendly welcome from Katie and Venus (and a slightly colder one from Ellen), it is decided that the Ghost will seek out the assistance of Chandra's Milcher friend, Abby, in order to infiltrate The Pit and retrieve Gloria - but, as usual, he is far from the only person looking for the fugitive girl...
